The Planet Zoo 2 Zoological Summit will open at Chester Zoo on September 12, 2026, bringing the newly announced event to the venue for one day only.
Announced on September 11, the summit is described as a day of “gameplay, discovery and conservation.” That combination gives the event a broader focus than a straightforward gameplay presentation, connecting Planet Zoo 2 with the conservation theme of its real-world setting.
The practical details are currently limited. No full schedule, attendance requirements or ticketing information accompanied the announcement, despite the event taking place the following day. Anyone hoping to attend Chester Zoo will therefore need to watch for further instructions.
There is at least a confirmed option for people who cannot be there in person. A livestream will share the “best bits” from the day, although its start time, host platform and viewing link have not yet been specified.
The wording is worth noting: this has been presented as a livestream of highlights rather than confirmation that the entire one-day summit will be broadcast as it happens. Additional event activity is also planned across social media, but the announcement does not identify which accounts or platforms will carry it.
For now, the key date is September 12. The Planet Zoo 2 Zoological Summit will spend that day at Chester Zoo, while remote viewers will receive selected highlights through the livestream and further coverage on social media.
