Phil Spencer Lands Down Under in Sydney for Xbox FanFest

Will Phil Spencer have any big announcements for us this week?

Phil Spencer, also known as Uncle Phil, today arrived in Sydney, Australia. Spencer will be attending the Xbox FanFest and EB Games Expo this week. The head of Xbox Division will be the keynote speaker on Friday at the EB Games Expo. We don’t know his involvement in the Xbox FanFest yet.

The Xbox FanFest is on from the 27th to 29th in Sydney. Xbox fanatics will get to attend a special launch for Forza Horizon 3, play Gears of War 4 and have exclusive access to the EB Games Expo on Thursday night. The event will be open to the public on Friday. Tickets to the FanFest are limited.

EB Games Expo will feature yet to be released games, a Pokémon Zone and the Mountain Dew Velodrome where you can participate in Drone Hunting. Yes, it does exist.

We’ll keep you posted if there are any big announcements from Spencer at the keynote. At this stage it is unlikely.
