NBA Playgrounds has just had it’s release date announced by developer Saber Interactive. The game was first announced at the start of last month.

The game is a 2-on-2 arcade game which features a single player mode. This is in addition to the multiplayer mode which has a range of game modes for players to select between. The multiplayer in the game is both local and online.

Saber Interactive hasn’t revealed much gameplay for NBA Playgrounds so far. However, the above gameplay trailer does display a good range of footage. More gameplay may be released over the next few days to help convince gamers who still aren’t sure about the game. If more gameplay is coming, the developer will need to release it soon as the game is being released next week.

Interested players will be able to purchase NBA Playgrounds on May 9th next week. The game will be releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
