After a leak from Target, Warner Brothers officially confirmed Middle-Earth: Shadow of War with an announcement trailer last week.

Now, the sequel to Shadow of Mordor has a gameplay teaser (above) ahead of its official worldwide gameplay reveal set for March 8th. And no, your internet is going screwy, the video really is only 5 seconds long. The teasiest teaser of all teasers.

The teaser shows Tallon riding a drake (dragon), which would be a badass edition to Middle-Earth gameplay. However, the video only shows a cut scene, not actual gameplay, so we can’t say for sure if you’ll be able to fly around Middle Earth on a drake or not just yet.

In other Shadow of War news, the different editions of the game have been revealed by Warner Bros. The expensive Mithril Edition actually includes a limited edition Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drake Statue–so, I mean, the drake has to be a gameplay feature… Right?

The Mithril Edition is set at a hefty $300, while the Silver and Gold Editions are $80 and $100, respectively. Check below for everything the different editions feature.

Mithril Edition:

  • Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion
  • Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion
  • The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion
  • The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion
  • Limited Edition 12” Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drake Statue
  • Collection of Exclusive Lithographs
  • Premium Case with Magnetic Ring of Power
  • Exclusive Steelcase
  • Official Game Music Soundtrack
  • Cloth Map of Mordor
  • Tribes Sticker Pack
  • Gold War Chest
  • Exclusive Mithril War Chest

  • The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion
  • Gold War Chest

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
