Tripwire Interactive has revealed that their zombie FPS game is free-to-play this weekend. This free weekend is available for both PC and PlayStation 4. The free version allows players to experience the full game however, the developer hasn’t confirmed if all progress will be carried forwards to the full game. Hopefully the developer will clarify this before the free weekend if over.

PC

The PC version is available through Steam and the full game is playable for this weekend only. The free weekend will be ending on March 26th. In addition to this, the game is currently available for half price until Monday the 27th. There’s also a six-pack version currently on sale at $75/£50 which is half the usual price.

Steam users can also get the full Tripwire Interactive bundle with a 48% discount. The bundle includes the original Killing Floor, Red Orchestra, Rising Storm and all of the Killing Floor DLC. The Steam store page for Killing Floor 2 is available here.

PlayStation 4

Those on the PlayStation 4 will get some extra time with the game. The free weekend will be ending on Tuesday, March 28th. This gives PS4 owners almost two full days more than those playing the PC version.

Unlike the PC version, the PlayStation 4 version of Killing Floor 2 is currently discounted by 33% instead of 50%. This is due to the game being released more recently for this platform. So the price for Killing Floor 2 is currently down to $26.79 when the game is usually on sale at $40.

The game is currently available as a free download for those located in the US.

In addition to Killing Floor, Football Manager 2017 is currently free to play on Steam this weekend. The game is also down to half price for this weekend only and all progress made during the free weekend can be carried forwards to the full game.
