Hearts of Iron IV is wrapping up its current summer update cycle with Patch 1.19.3, announced as both the last “Summer” release and the final patch specifically targeting Thunder at our Gates.
The update will add more content for countries introduced through Thunder at our Gates, confirming that this is more than a balance-only clean-up pass. The announcement confirms added content and substantial balance changes without naming the countries involved or listing the individual adjustments.
That balance package was previously introduced in the Open Beta Summer Edition. It is being released earlier because the developers judged the changes appropriate for an earlier rollout, moving already tested adjustments toward the main game rather than presenting them as newly unveiled experiments.
