It’s been announced that Football Manager 2017 is currently free-to-play this weekend. The full Football Manager experience is completely free for this weekend only through Steam. All PC players will be able to fully explore what the game has to offer.

Sega has confirmed that the free weekend provides unrestricted access to the games Classic Mode and also the Fantasy Draft. The free weekend also includes the multiplayer sections of the game.

Football Manager 2017 will be free to access and play until March 26th this Sunday. While the free trial may be ending then, the game is discounted then to half price until the 27th.

All progress made during the free weekend can be carried forwards if players decide to purchase the full game. When the weekend ends, the game will auto-save and players will receive a pop-up notification telling them that the trial is over. Sega has also confirmed that the notification will explain how to upgrade to the full version and how to carry over all saved progress.
