Yesterday it was confirmed by Bungie that Destiny 2 does exist. The developer posted an image online showing the Last City of Earth in ruins and on fire. Bungie has now released the first trailer for the upcoming game.

The CGI trailer is focused on Cayde-6 telling a story from inside a destroyed bar. It shows the city in ruins and confirms that the city has come under attack by an enemy. The trailer doesn’t confirm what these enemies are however.

Bungie has also confirmed that a full reveal trailer is coming on Thursday March 30th.

A second teaser trailer was released for the PlayStation YouTube channel. It confirms that the PlayStation 4 will be getting some exclusive content. There are no differences in the content of the video however so it’s not really worth re-watching. It just tells viewers that “exclusive Destiny 2 content” will be coming to the PlayStation 4.

The small print of the video also states that the exclusive content will be a “timed exclusive” until “at least Fall 2018”. In addition to this, the video confirms that more details will be released this Summer. This could be referring to E3 which is set to take place in June later this year.

While the first teaser trailers have now been released for Destiny 2, they don’t reveal very much. Hopefully the announcement on Thursday has more content for fans of the game.

In other Destiny news, the Age of Triumph has now begun and the final live event is underway. This blog post from Bungie contains more details about the final live event for Destiny. The post also includes a trailer for the final live event and details everything currently happening in Destiny.

We will provide you with updates later this week once the Destiny 2 trailer has been released. We will also be covering the information released about the upcoming game later this year.
