Bethesda released their Elder Scrolls card game for several other platforms this week. The Elder Scrolls Legends is the digital card game from Bethesda which was released earlier this year on Bethesda.net however, the developer has now released the game on other platforms. The strategy card game is now available for Steam and Android tablets.
Players who started on Bethesda.net will be pleased to learn that switching platforms is easy. Bethesda states that users login information is universal across platforms. So users should be able to pick up where they left off with their current decks. In addition to this, it’s even possible to switch platforms mid-game without losing any progress.
The Elder Scrolls Legends is now available for Windows and Mac OS X via Steam. However, there is also a version currently available for Android tablets. This version requires Android 4.4 or higher in order to run the game. Bethesda is yet to provide details about a release for iOS devices and Android mobile phones.
This update was released earlier this week and included some new features including two new game modes for players and fans of the game to explore.
Spectator mode is the first one. It allows players to watch live games being played by their friends. While this mode is very limited right now, Bethesda has plans to expand this based on feedback from players.
Gauntlet Mode is a tournament style mode where players compete for global scores. Players will battle for spots on a worldwide leaderboard to earn different prizes such as card packs, in-game gold and other in-game items. Details on how players will enter these tournaments is limited right now.
The Elder Scrolls Legends has had a strong start to life and Bethesda is expected to provide more details on the game at E3.
