Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for nothing?

This may just be a glitch but currently Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is advertised for free on the Microsoft Store. The Collection includes Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel for Xbox One. The price on the Xbox Store is still at a discounted price of $24.

This may just be a free weekend deal and for some reason has been released early. There is no news from 2K Games or Developer Gearbox Software yet. Rumours are surfacing on a release date for the third game in the series, so it may be a promotion from 2K games. I’m assuming there will be some news to come out soon. We’ll keep you posted.
