Bethesda has released a teaser image for their upcoming E3 conference. The image is of a theme park called “Bethesdaland”. It shows areas depicting different Bethesda games such as Dishonored, Prey, Doom, The Elder Scrolls and Quake Champions. However, the image also contains two other areas which are “under construction”.
The developer hasn’t provided any hints about what these two new games could be. However, a new Wolfenstein game was teased at E3 last year. So it’s possible that one of these games is Wolfenstein: New Colossus. Bethesda also has several other IPs which could be getting a new game. The top contenders would be The Evil Within and Rage.
While Bethesda certainly has several other IPs to work with, it’s also possible the developer has some new IPs. The internet is currently full of gamers debating over what this teaser could mean and suggesting which games they could be for.
There has been some suggestion that one of these game could be for Fallout 4 VR which is currently in development and there is no Fallout section in the park. While there is no large section dedicated to Fallout on the image, there is a Vault Boy statue towards the entrance of the park. This could just mean that Fallout 4 will not be a major part of the E3 press conference.
Bethesda hasn’t provided any more information than just the teaser image so it’s currently uncertain what these two “Under Construction” areas could be for.
The Bethesda E3 conference will be taking place on Sunday June 11th which is the day before E3 officially begins. Microsoft will also be holding their E3 conference on that day however, they will be hosting theirs in the afternoon.
What do you think these two games could be? Let us know in the comments!
