If you thought the first two days of Summer Games Done Quick 2019 (or SGDQ 2019 for short) were awesome, then the best speedruns of SGDQ 2019 day three will blow your mind. The seven-day long speedrun marathon continued this Tuesday, and donations for Doctors Without Borders keep coming in. Day three of SGDQ 2019 had some truly epic speedruns, including classic games, modern shooters, and even an arcade title or two. In case you missed it, we’re here to list the best speedruns of SGDQ 2019 day three, so you don’t have to scrub through 24 hours of content to find the best stuff. From Uncharted and Split/Second to Kirby and Pokemon, day three of SGDQ 2019 was packed with amazing speedruns and races. There’s a certain clunky charm to the first Uncharted game, and runner osskari used that to their advantage during the any% run at SGDQ 2019. By using a variety of clipping glitches and playing on a super easy difficulty level, osskari took us through Nathan Drake’s first big adventure with speed. For added comedic effect, the game was played with the main character model switched, seeing character Elena in the leading role. This a great run for any PlayStation 3 fan, and a fun trip back to last generation.

The early morning of day two at SGDQ 2019 had a surprising gem in the form of Chasm: The Rift. Played expertly by runner TBCR, this Quake-looking DOOM clone had plenty of out-of-bounds clipping and risky tricks. Throughout the run, TBCR provided great commentary that was both informative and entertaining. It’s also a quick run to view, clocking in at just over 15 minutes!

Races are always a treat at SGDQ, and what better game for a race than Slipstream? This racing genre homage is a fantastic looking indie game, taking inspiration from the classic racer OutRun. In this quick speedrun, Konasumi and WhatisCalvin raced head-to-head through 20 levels, just a few seconds apart from each other. The race was tense, with several crashes and sweaty palm moments. The humorous references and sleek visuals make this speedrun a satisfying race, and one of the best speedruns of SGDQ 2019 day three.

Not only was Crash Bandicoot the PlayStation console mascot, but the third game in the franchise was also one of the best speedruns of SGDQ 2019 day three. This three-man race between Jhobz, Murcaz, and CameronVengez had excellent commentary from SpikeVegeta, various lead changes, and varying routes. Crash 3: Warped is full of variety, including a handful of vehicle sections and underwater levels. These three runners did their best to speed to the end, utilizing a slew of glitches and movement techniques.

Any time that zallard1 plays a Punch-Out!! game at a GDQ event, there’s a good chance it’s going to be phenomenal. We’ve watched this exceptionally talented speedrunner destroy the franchise blindfolded, and at SGDQ 2019, he upped the ante. Not only did zallard1 pull off two fantastic Punch-Out!! runs, but he also displayed his skills at blindfolded gameplay once again. I don’t want to spoil anything about either of these two excellent speedruns, and highly suggest you check them out. These were two of our most anticipated runs of the event, and they lived up to the hype as two of the best speedruns of SGDQ 2019.

If you’ve ever played the original NES Legend of Zelda, this speedrun will be both familiar and new. In the “randomizer” version of The Legend of Zelda, important item locations have been flipped around, but the dungeon locations remain the same. This means that both runners must utilize various glitches to get around the map, checking a series of item locations to find the necessary gear to complete the game. The random nature of the game, combined with excellent commentary that makes the race easy to follow makes this one of the best speedruns at SGDQ 2019. It seems like day three was the day of races, and this classic game with a modern twist added a fun spin on a standard race format.

By the end of day three, SGDQ 2019 has managed to raised around $490,000 for Doctors Without Borders.
