Two of your favorite platforming furry friends are coming to a PS4 bundle near you, according to a leak revealed on Reddit.

PS4

The bundle is listed on a French retailer’s website. It includes a 1TB PS4 Slim, Ratchet & Clank (2016), and the upcoming Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which is a remake of the first three Crash games. The price is posted as €349.99, about $395 US.

That’s actually… not that great of a deal. A 1TB PS4 Slim goes for about $300 right now, Ratchet costs $20, and N. Sane Trilogy releases at $40. Let’s see. $400 for the bundle or $360 to buy them all separately? Am I missing something? Aren’t bundles supposed to offer a discount somewhere?

Of course, pricing could be adjusted before the official announcement.

Strangely, the site lists the bundle’s release date as June 21st, 2017, even though Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy does not launch until over a week later on the 30th. Perhaps the site’s release date will be adjusted, or the bundle will come with a download code for Crash that won’t work until the end of the month.

So far, this is the only listing of the bundle, but it looks pretty legit. No additional details were given, so we don’t yet know if this bundle will make its way out of the European region.

A Ratchet and Crash bundle seems like the perfect deal for the holidays, especially to compete with those Nintendo Switch bundles kids will be asking their parents for. Unless Nintendo really commits to filling shelves with the understocked Switch, Sony could take some business from them with this deal.

What do you think of this platforming PS4 Slim bundle? Let us know in the comments!

Mischa McGill

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
