A new update is out now for the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds — a.k.a PUBG — and it brings some gameplay changes, performance improvements, and bug fixes.
PUBG was heavily criticized when it released on Xbox One, via the Xbox Game Preview program, due to performance issues. While this patch doesn’t fix all of the game’s problems, it does make several “incremental improvements to performance,” according to Bluehole. Developers will continue to work on fixing crashes and other bugs in an effort to get PUBG to a state for full release.
Some changes players should notice include a slight increase in the frame rate, the addition of an aim acceleration slider, a buff to weapon damage when firing on vehicles, an option to turn the music off, and other unnamed PhysX and VFX enhancements.
