Nintendo Direct Bombshells: Bethesda’s Fallout Onslaught, Resident Evil Requiem Terror, and Switch 2’s 2026 Takeover

Nintendo’s February 2026 Partner Showcase packed a 30-minute showcase of third-party games that bridge the current Switch and upcoming Switch 2, with a clear focus on high-profile ports and new titles to kick off the year. It highlighted Bethesda’s big entry into Nintendo’s ecosystem alongside Capcom’s Resident Evil push and a handful of fresh exclusives, giving fans plenty to wishlist.

Bethesda’s Switch 2 Triple Play

Bethesda stole much of the spotlight with three major titles coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2. Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition launches February 24, bringing the post-apocalyptic RPG with all its expansions and upgrades.​

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle round out the trio, both slated for later in 2026 with enhanced visuals tailored for the new hardware. These ports signal Bethesda’s full commitment to Nintendo, promising performance that rivals other platforms.

Resident Evil Takes Center Stage

Capcom dominated with Resident Evil Requiem, a new entry blending survival horror for Grace Ashcroft and action for Leon S. Kennedy, arriving February 27 on Switch 2. It supports first- and third-person views, flexible difficulties, and ties into themed merch like a Pro Controller and amiibo figures.​

Rounding out the bundle are Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, both also hitting Switch 2 on February 27 for fans catching up on the series.

Orbitals impressed with its co-op puzzle-platformer vibes, locked to Switch 2 for winter 2026. PRAGMATA and TOKYO SCRAMBLE added sci-fi action and underground survival, both Switch 2 exclusives.​

PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse surprises as a Switch sequel to the 2023 original, out February 19 with its mermaid curse mystery-horror tale. PGA TOUR 2K25 swings onto Switch 2 February 6, packing full majors and modes.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrades the cozy sim later in 2026, while Final Fantasy VII Rebirth confirms its Switch 2 port.
