ARC Raiders Hits 16.2 Million Sales – Revenue Soars to Nearly $115 Million

Embark Studios’ extraction shooter ARC Raiders has sold 16.2 million units and generated ¥18.3 billion—nearly $115 million—in revenue during Q2 2026, according to GamingBolt reporting on parent company Nexon’s results.

The quarter added 800,000 copies to the game’s total since its October 2025 launch, while lifetime revenue has now surpassed ¥88 billion, or roughly $552.8 million. The game centers on the tense push-and-pull of an extraction shooter: venture out, survive the dangers, bring your haul home, then decide how much risk to take on the next run.

For Nexon, ARC Raiders stands out in a quarterly report where operating income fell 17 percent and the company’s Dungeon and Fighter franchise declined 44 percent year over year. The report indicates that the shooter continues to exceed expectations, confirming a proven audience eager for the next stage of the game.

Frozen Trail Expands the Fight Above Ground

That next stage arrives on October 8 with Frozen Trail, a major update set in a new large mountain map. The update will also introduce a new Operation and two additional ARC threats: one described as “a small and nifty problem-maker,” the other as an enormous machine built to stop Raiders in their tracks.

The mountain setting is crucial because extraction games depend on how well their environments create uncertainty. A new map is not just fresh scenery; every route, escape plan, and confrontation can change depending on what players find—or what finds them first. Adding two new enemy types alongside an Operation gives Frozen Trail a chance to shake up the routines that form once a dedicated player base learns a game’s existing dangers.

The Outpost Puts More Personality Between Expeditions

Embark is also adding the Outpost, a personal player space that Raiders can decorate. It is framed as part of the first steps toward reclaiming the surface, and players will use it to research new elements of the world.

This complements the high-pressure extraction loop. The Outpost provides players a quieter place to make the game feel like their own, while research ties that customization back into the wider world rather than treating it as a disconnected display room. New Raider Decks and Skill Tree adjustments are also planned to give players more control over their preferred playstyle, with additional weapons, gadgets, and cosmetics due closer to the update.

ARC Raiders is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The sales milestone means Frozen Trail will not be trying to rescue a fading launch; it will be aiming to give a large established population fresh reasons to take another dangerous trip into the surface world.
