ACE COMBAT 8 Becomes Franchise’s Fastest Million Seller

ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE is officially a million seller—and it reached that threshold faster than any previous title in the ACE COMBAT franchise.

The announcement does not specify exactly how long the game took to cross one million or provide a figure beyond that milestone. Even so, the comparison establishes WINGS OF THEVE as the fastest ACE COMBAT game to hit the stated benchmark.

That pace is particularly notable for a franchise now 30 years old. Rather than simply adding another million seller to the series, ACE COMBAT 8 has set a new franchise record for how quickly a game reached that mark.
