505 Games has published a huge number of games in the past including Payday 2, Rocket League, Terraria and Abzu. The publisher has just announced that a new game will be joining their list of published games. The new title, Quarantine, is due for release in February.
Quarantine is a turn-based strategy game where players must fight to stop a deadly contagion that is threatening the planet. Players are put in control of an agency named “Pandemic Defense” where they must recruit a team and send them on missions.
Three types of pathogens have been confirmed to be in the game and players will have several types of units to command. This turn-based strategy game will allow players to upgrade their team to enhance their skills. The game seems like a combination of gameplay mechanics from X-Com and Plague Inc Evolved together. Details about the gameplay are still uncertain but should be revealed over the next few weeks.
Quarantine is being developed by Sproig who has released several games with 505 Games in the past. The game is due to enter Early Access next month and interested players can purchase it on Steam from February 9th. So far, no release estimations for the game have been provided.
