Yakuza Remastered Collection Announced, Yakuza 3 Available Right Now

For the first time in history, you can enjoy Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 as part of the Yakuza Remastered Collection all on the PlayStation 4 and, all are gloriously remastered! The digital version of Yakuza 3 Remastered is available now on the PlayStation store.

Yakuza 4 Remastered will be available on October 29, 2019, and Yakuza 5 Remastered to be released on February 11, 2020. You have to purchase the complete pack and 4 and 5 will unlock on the mentioned dates. The collection sells for $59.99 (US price).

For those more interested in a physical release you can pre-order the Day One Edition at your local major retailer right now, also.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection Physical Edition includes the following:

  • 2-Disc Digipack
  • Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, & Yakuza 5 on 2 Discs
  • Collectible Yakuza 5 PlayStation 3 Amaray Case (Does not include Yakuza 5 game disc for PlayStation 3)

The content is restored and updated to play in 1080p at 60fps and will include content not previously seen in the original Western releases such as Mahjong, Shogi and the Cabaret minigames.

You may recognise and be disappointed that the red-edition cover is the same artwork that was on the artbook case for Yakuza 6 (Credit: Our Discord members) however, having the black and red cases sitting next to each other on your shelf will look badass.

And the Yakuza 5 PlayStation 3 case is a great collector’s piece – I wonder If they had a stack of them sitting in a warehouse somewhere. Hopefully, for PC gamers, – we’ll keep you updated! – a PC edition will be announced soon.

If you need to catch up on Yakuza 3 before purchasing the Yakuza Remastered Collection, you can check out our full playthrough below.

Now go enjoy Yakuza and Kazuma Kiryu’s epic journey!
