Wrath of the Machine

Rage against the machine in Heroic Mode.

Wrath of the Machine

Destiny: Rise of Iron isn’t the beefy expansion we were hoping for. The entire campaign can be completed in less than three hours, and that’s if you’re playing casually. The hardcore players out there very likely conquered all of the new story content in less than two hours. The new raid, “Wrath of the Machine,” was conquered that following Friday.

If you’re new to Destiny, then you have so much to catch up on. If you’re a hardcore player, you and your Guardian are likely wondering what’s next. Thankfully Bungie still has some new challenges and events in store. In its latest weekly update, Bungie had the following to say:

“Have you ventured deep below the Plaguelands to destroy Aksis? If you have not, there is still time to increase your Light, form up a dream team, and embark on the mission. If you have completed that mission, the truest test of teamwork and cunning is yet to come.” Below the statement we find the following image:

Not very cryptic, are they? So Wrath of the Machine is getting a heroic mode on Tuesday, October 18. Tuesday is when Destiny resets each week, so you can expect to attempt the raid again afterward. Heroic raids are no joke, so make sure you’re around Rise of Iron‘s 385 light limit before giving it a shot. If you can survive, you can look forward to gear drops at around 400 light. Good luck, Guardian.
