Developer Natsume has announced that a remastered version of the classic SNES game Wild Guns will be released for PC this year. Wild Guns Reloaded is the remastered version of the game which got a PS4 release last year. Wild Guns Reloaded will now be getting a PC release via Steam.
The remastered version of the game will be arriving with two new characters, new stages and bosses. The developer also notes that the game will support four player local multiplayer however, there will be no online multiplayer. Despite this, there will be an online ranking system. It’s currently uncertain if developer Natsume will add online multiplayer in the future.
According to GameSpot, the developer will have several games to show at E3 in June. Details about these games are currently known but the developer has had a role in developing an array of games in the past.
This is the first time that Natsume has released a game for the PC platform. It’s uncertain what their plans are for the future and they may release other titles for PC.
Natsume is also known for games such as Pocky & Rocky, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Ninja Gaiden. However, the company separated into two developers in 1995. As a result of this, there are two companies with a similar name.
There’s Natsume-Atari which merged with Atari and now creates mobile games and licensed titles. Meanwhile, Natsume Inc creates a range of games such as Harvest Moon which are family orientated.
