The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Episode 3 release date announced

Developer Telltale Games has revealed when the next episode for The Walking Dead Season 3 will be released.

During Pax East yesterday, the developer revealed a new trailer for the game. This trailer shows a few exclusive clips from the next episode in the game. The video was released exclusively for Pax East but has already been released on YouTube. You can watch the Episode 3 official reveal trailer below.

The trailer also confirms the release date for the next episode. Episode 3 will be released later this month on March 28th and is named “Above the Law”. The episode will continue with Javi as the main protagonist and the trailer confirms that Clementine will be coming back at some point. This next episode should be just as action packed as the previous two episodes have been. The exclusive trailer doesn’t reveal much else about the next chapter in the story however.

The Walking Dead Season 3 was first released in December. Unlike the other games in the series, Episode 1 and 2 were released together and players have been left waiting for a release date since December. Considering the incredibly positive response to the first two episodes, it’s not surprising that Telltale took their time with this episode. Hopefully Episode 3 will have been worth the wait for gamers.

Episode 1 and 2 are currently available for download and all Season Pass owners will automatically have Episode 3 unlocked later this month. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Episode 3 will be released towards the end of this month. Everyone will be able to download this new episode from March 28th.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is currently available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There is no word on a Nintendo Switch port for the game. We will provide you with updates if Telltale makes any announcements regarding this.
