Ubisoft’s Advent Calendar Revealed on Reddit

To celebrate Ubisoft’s 30th birthday, they’re offering 30 Days of Giveaways and you know it’s going to require Uplay.

Some 1337 h4x0rs were “messing with the source code” and posted their findings on hacker-central – AKA Reddit.

I bolded the free games and 30% discount for you. The rest are GIFS and wallpapers (that I wasn’t aware were ever not free)

Fer et Flamme

These kind of giveaways are pretty fun and some of them even have decent value. It’s a nice way to keep their brand in the minds of the gamer while giving the tiniest bit back in exchange for the horrors of having to install Uplay.

Mathew Falvai

Mathew is a huge fan of Space, Strategy, and Shadowrun (Genesis version is #1). When it comes to games and films, he’d much rather experience a 10/10 classic from yesteryear than a 6/10 modern blandfest. He does feel we’re living in a gaming golden age with the power of indie developers at an all-time high, but wishes AAA publishers would take more risks. Mat believes it’s only a matter of time before the pendulum swings the other way and new ideas take their rightful place above reboots.
