Ubisoft has just revealed the PC specifications for their upcoming hack-and-slash style game, For Honor.
The requirements for the game are quite low so gamers with older machines should be pleased by these minimum requirements.
Minimum requirements:
- OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
- CPU: Intel Core i3-550 | AMD Phenom II X4 955 or equivalent
- Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660/GTX 750ti/GTX 950/GTX 1050 with 2 GB VRAM or more | AMD Radeon HD 6970/HD 7870/R9 270/R9 370/RX 460 with 2 GB VRAM or more
- RAM: 4 GB
The recommended requirements aren’t that much higher so the game should run smoothly on most PC’s.

- CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K | AMD FX-6350 or equivalent
- Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 680/GTX 760/GTX 970/GTX 1060 with 2 GB VRAM or more | AMD Radeon R9 280X/R9 380/RX 470 with 2 GB VRAM or more
- RAM: 8 GB
The official post on the Ubisoft blog has also revealed what Nvidia and AMD cards are supported at launch. The full details on this are available on the official blog post. The post also went into details about what controllers will be supported from the game at launch.
In addition to the classic mouse & keyboard, For Honor is fully supported by the PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers. The For Honor team have also revealed there there’s a variety of partially supported controllers also such as the PS3, OUYA and Steam controllers.
The final beta test is due to take place later this month on January 26th -29th. The closed beta test has been confirmed to feature the 4v4 Dominion mode, the 2v2 Brawl and the 1v1 Duel modes. It will also feature the Faction War meta game where players battle to gain more territory for their faction. Anyone interested in the beta can sign up on the official website here.
