It’s been officially confirmed by PayPal. The Steam Summer Sale 2017 will be starting tomorrow at 6pm BST for all Steam users. Naturally, Valve hasn’t confirmed this yet.

Just like with past sales, PayPal has leaked the dates of the upcoming sale ahead of their official launch. Assuming PayPal is once again correct the Steam Summer Sale 2017 will begin tomorrow. According to the Twitter post from the company, the sale will be ending on July 5th which would make this sale almost two weeks long.

PayPal didn’t just announce the sale for fun either. UK gamers will be getting a great deal. UK PC players who spent £20 in the Steam Sale through PayPal will be getting £5 added back to their accounts. Anyone interested in this deal can find more information here. However, PayPal didn’t officially state an end date for the sale. Despite this, the PayPal deal does state an end date which is July 5th. It’s currently uncertain if this is the end date of the sale or if this is just when the deal is over.

This matches up with the dates that were leaked on Reddit last month. The post states that the sale will be starting at 9:50 AM Pacific and will end on July 5th at 10:05 AM Pacific. The post doesn’t add any additional information however. If you’d like to see for yourself then you can find the post here.

While these dates certainly seem very credible, it’s important to remember that Valve has not confirmed these times. The Steam Summer Sale 2017 dates may be moved by Valve. However, it does seem very likely that it will be full steam ahead starting tomorrow.

For now, PC gamers should be going through their wishlists to purge them of old games and add new ones for the sale.

What are you planning to purchase this year?
