Nintendo Everything reports that Splatoon Raiders’ secret boss is Lord Saltimatum, waiting on the 100th floor of the Bottomless Buffet. The encounter combines several projectile attacks with a major escalation once the boss loses enough health.
That makes the disclosed health threshold the key detail. Lord Saltimatum can already fill the fight with different attacks, but his most expansive move becomes available later in the battle.
Tornadoes, lasers, and projectile cones
Lord Saltimatum’s regular arsenal includes tornadoes and lasers, giving the secret encounter multiple hazards to contend with. He can also shoot cone-shaped projectiles during the fight.
Together, those moves give the boss three distinct attack types before accounting for his explosive option. Each has its own shape, from focused laser fire to spreading cones and incoming tornadoes, keeping the encounter from revolving around one repeated projectile pattern.
A blast that covers almost everything
After Lord Saltimatum’s health has been depleted by at least half, he can unleash an explosion attack. Its reach is the standout detail: the blast covers nearly the entire battle arena.
While the other disclosed moves provide the boss with variety, this attack dramatically expands the threatened area. Players reaching that point must face an explosion with very little of the arena left untouched.
