Humble Bundle

Halloween is still a ways off, but Humble Bundle wants to set you up early so you have plenty of time to play some spooky titles for cheap. The Humble Spooky Horror Bundle is available now and lasts for 12 days. Pay anywhere from $1 to $10 for the PC horror titles, and help charity while you’re at it.

Humble offers games in tiers. If you pay the lowest price, you get the games in the lowest tier. Pay the second tier price, get the games in the second and first tiers. Pay the highest price, get all the games in the bundle. Let’s walk through the tiers and games up for offer.

By paying at least $1, you get the first tier of four horror titles on PC — Dead Aim, DreadOut, DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark, and Lakeview Cabin Collection. DreadOut includes the Manga DLC and Soundtrack DLC. That’s a nice handful of games. At least one of them has the be worth checking out for a dollar.

The second tier is available for at least $7.20 and includes three more PC games, in addition to all those in the first tier. There’s Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition, where you explore a spooky house with a heavy focus on storytelling; Alien: Isolation, which has you sneaking and fighting for survival in space; and Five Nights At Freddy’s: Sister Location, the latest FNAF where you’re still avoiding terrifying animatronics.

The top tier in this bundle costs $10 and adds one more game to your cart: Dead by Daylight. It’s a 4vs1 multiplayer survival game where one player takes on the role of the killer and the other four are trying to escape horrific murders. $10 seems like a steal for all eight of these horror adventures.

All listed games are redeemable via Steam codes. The Spooky Horror Bundle is available on this site until September 5th.

Mischa McGill

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
