Xbox Live Gold subscription holders should know by now that it’s the time of month where a new round of free games are available through the program. Evolve and Darksiders are no longer available for Xbox Live Gold members. However, two new games have been added to the free download list which should take away some of the sadness for those who missed the two games.

Here’s the new Xbox Live Gold line-up for April:

Xbox One

  • Ryse: Son of Rome
  • The Walking Dead: Season 2

Both of these games will be available for the remaining two weeks of April. Ryse: Son of Rome however will be leaving the free games on April 30th while Walking Dead: Season 2 will be leaving on May 15th. TWD: Season 2 is the new game for the remainder of the month and is replacing Evolve which joined the program on March 16th last month.

Anyone interested in these games will need to grab them as soon as possible to add them to their game library over the next few weeks.

Xbox 360

  • Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

This game will be in the Xbox Live Gold free games until the end of the month on April 30th. This game replaces the original Darksiders which entered the free game program at the start of the month on April 1st. This newly added Xbox 360 game is also Backwards Compatible so players can access and play the game on their Xbox One if they download the game for their Xbox 360.

Microsoft hasn’t released the list of games which will be available next month however, the company usually does this towards the end of the month.

We will provide you with updates once Microsoft has released the list of next months games. The announcement will most likely come sometime in the next two weeks.
