Mirage: Arcane Warfare is Free on Steam Right Now With a Permanent Price Drop

The developer of Mirage: Arcane Warfare has announced that their game will be Free for a Day on Steam. The free event has already gotten underway. It began at 10am PT this morning and will be ending at the same time tomorrow. However, the price of the game will be permanently dropping to $9.99 from it’s original launch price.

“Mirage launch sales were poor. That sucked, and we know it. Our company’s doing fine, and we’ll be able to continue to make awesome games in the future. “

The developer explains in the blog post that the game struggled at launch and they felt bad for those who had payed for the game but were unable to find matches. As a result, the team is giving away the game in a bid to find a larger audience for their game.

“We think Mirage is a great game” states the developer while also noting that the game has an average score of 74 on the Metacritic website.

Hopefully this tactic will provide the game with more players.
