Mass Effect: Andromeda had a rocky start but BioWare is still determined to push the game. When we reviewed the game we gave it a 6.5/10 however, you’ll be able to check out the game for yourself and see if it’s worth a purchase.

The developer and publisher have now announced that a free demo is now available. This ten hour trial allows players to explore the world of Andromeda for a few hours without needing to commit to purchasing the game. All progress made during the demo will be carried forwards to the full game if you decided to purchase the game.

Anyone interested in this demo can download it regardless of platform. All platforms the game released on have also received this demo. You can find each of the links to the demo just below:

  • PC
  • Xbox One
  • PlayStation 4

This 10 hour demo is the rough equivalent of the demo which was made Early Access for EA Access and Origin Access subscribers. It allows players to explore the first planet in the game which is Eos, a desert world. In addition to this, players will also be able to play the multiplayer section of the game. However, players are limited to ten hours of play with the demo.

Players will be able to experience Mass Effect: Andromeda with all of the recent patches and updates. This includes the update which allows the male Ryder romance Jaal even though it’s not possible to get that far into the game with the ten hour demo.

Mass Effect: Andromeda had a rough start with critics and players as a result. Gamers will now be able to test the quality of the game for themselves.

Will you be downloading and playing the demo? Let us know your thoughts on Mass Effect: Andromeda if you’ve played it!
