The PlayStation Plus lineup of free games for the month of May starts tomorrow, May 2nd. There’s a nice handful of PS4, PS3, and PS Vita games up for grabs, along with a strange regional variation.
Headlining the PS Plus May lineup are shooter RPG Alienation and sci-fi adventure spinoff Tales from the Borderlands. However, Alienation is only a free title in European regions. In North America, PS Plus members will get the immersive adventure game Abzu free of charge.
The full list of May 2017 PS Plus games is below.
- Alienation (PS4) (Abzu in NA)
- Tales from the Borderlands (PS4)
- Blood Knights (PS3)
- Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants (PS3)
- Laser Disco Defenders (PS Vita)
- Type:Rider (PS Vita)
Blood Knights is a graphic action adventure game where players fight evil in a mythical version of the Holy Land. The other PS3 game, Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchant, is a pirate-themed business simulation. As for the PS Vita titles, Laser Disco Defenders is a challenging top-down shooter, and Type:Rider is a side-scrolling platformer that takes players through every age of typography.
The May PS Plus update doesn’t happen until tomorrow, May 2nd, so you still have some time to snag April’s free games. They include Drawn to Death, Lover’s in a Dangerous Spacetime, Invizimals: the Lost Kingdom, Alien Rage – Extended Edition, 10 Second Ninja, and Curses ‘n Chaos.
Remember that Drawn to Death is actually a brand new release, so save yourself the $20 and get it while it’s free.
Have fun with your free games, and check back with A9K for news on the latest gaming deals.
