Fallout 4 VR is coming to E3 2017

Bethesda will be bringing Fallout 4 VR to E3 2017. The developer will also be showing the game off on the show floor of the massive trade show. In an interview with Hip Hop Gamer, Pete Hines confirmed that Fallout 4 VR would be coming to E3.

Hines doesn’t play VR due to motion sickness but he has heard many positive things about the game from game director Todd Howard. According to Hines, Todd Howard told him that “Fallout 4 VR is the most incredible thing you’ve ever seen in your life”. In addition to this, he also said that “it’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen”.

This is very promising for Fallout fans who are looking forward to the VR release of the game. Fallout 4 VR will be released for the HTC Vive. However, it’s uncertain if the game will be released for other VR headsets. Bethesda will most likely clear this up during their E3 2017 conference later this year.

Pete Hines also commented on where he thinks VR will be going in the future. He stated that be believes the VR industry will grow in size and popularity over the next few years. Hines added that he doesn’t think that it will replace traditional gaming. Part of the reason for this is because of how isolating VR gaming currently is. He explained that his wife sometimes likes to watch him play games and that a VR headset limits this and reinforces gaming as a solo activity.

The information on Fallout 4 VR is currently very limited but it looks as though Bethesda will be showing more of  the game during their E3 conference. It’s also possible that Bethesda will announce a release date for the upcoming port.

We will provide you with updates later this year once E3 begins in June.
