Daymare: 1998 Kickstarter Date & Price Announced

Daymare: 1998 Kickstarter campaign to start on February 15th

This will be music to the ears of many who’ve been following the progress of Daymare: 1998 since its announcement. The Kickstarter campaign will commence on the 15th of February at 16:00 GMT, lasting for 30 days and ending on St Patricks Day, the 17th of March. Invader Studios have also posted new screenshots from the game.

The price

For 15 Euros you will receive the standard digital game. That’s a pretty sweet deal. This also includes your name being in-game on telephone books near call boxes/save points, which are throughout the game. Invader Studios also hinted that there may be special limited edition prices and recommended pledging your money fast. The full details on rewards will be announced in the next couple of days through their social media channels.

Invader Studios said “Today is a great day, we can now reveal the start date of our Kickstarter campaign! It’s almost unbearable to not be able to share, right now, all we have in store for you, but believe us when we tell you it’s worth the wait for another few days. We are confident each and everyone of you will find something extremely interesting in our rewards. We’d also like to remind you that the first backers will be granted some exclusive promotions at discounted prices, after all life was definitely cheaper in ’98! Your Daymare will begin on the 15th of February on Kickstarter!”

Invader Studios originally created and released a Resident Evil 2 remake trailer called Resident Evil 2 Reborn. This got fans of the series super excited! Unfortunately, the idea was shut down by Capcom. But since they’ve decided to make their own survival horror game. The new title is influenced by older horror titles but is refreshed with newer visuals using the Unreal Engine 4.

You can keep up to date with announcements straight from the studio on the newly created blog with posts including insight on the dev team and their recent experiences with Capcom and RE2 Reborn. We’ll also keep you updated!
