Nintendo held a new Nintendo Direct yesterday but it didn’t contain this piece of news. The Japanese version of the video stated that Crypt of the Necrodancer would be coming to the Switch however, there was no mention of it during the English video.
Well, it’s officially been confirmed by Nintendo of America on Twitter. Crypt of the Necrodancer will be released internationally for the Nintendo Switch. We don’t know exactly when the game will be released but we do know a few details on the game.
It’s been confirmed that the game will have a Switch exclusive local co-op mode. We haven’t seen any footage of this yet however so it’s uncertain how it will play. Additionally, it will also have an exclusive new character which the other versions of the game won’t be receiving.
Details on this are still very limited right now and we will update you once we learn more.
