Sega has just announced that their console hit Bayonetta has been released for PC. The PC port of the original game is arriving with a wide range of graphic options. The publisher confirms that PC version of the game supports up to 4K resolution and features 60 frames per second. However, the Steam Store page states that the game is best played with a controller.

This announcement comes in the aftermath of the April Fools 8-Bit Bayonetta game. This confirms some of the thoughts and fan theories that were floating around in the wake of that game.

The publisher has confirmed that the PC port is only available through Steam. However, it will support a variety of Steam features. The game has 50 different Steam Achievements, a variety of trading cards and also Steam Cloud Save. In addition to this, the game has been confirmed to contain some leaderboards.

Developer PlatinumGames was involved with the development of the PC port for the original game.

Here are the PC specifications for Bayonetta on PC.

Minimum

  • OS: Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 (8.1)/ 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i3 3220
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Radeon HD6950 / GeForce GTX 570 (VRAM 768MB)

Recommended

  • OS: Windows 7 / 8 (8.1)/ 10
  • Processor: Core i5 4460
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Radeon HD7870 / Geforce GTX 760 or more (VRAM 2GB or more)

Sega has also confirmed that they will be giving everyone the Digital Deluxe Edition for no extra cost until April 25th. This version of the game includes a five track soundtrack sample, a digital artbook, wallpapers and also avatars. After April 25th, gamers will need to pay additional money to purchase this version of the game. However, there’s currently no Store page for the Digital Deluxe Edition so it’s currently uncertain how much it will cost.

Anyone interested in purchasing Bayonetta on PC can find the store page on Steam here.
