The Dark Souls publisher has made their new game announcement earlier than originally expected. Another announcement will be coming on April 20th but some news about the game is now known.
Code Vein is a RPG where players take the role of a vampire. Gematsu reports that the game is a “dungeon exploration type, hard action RPG” and that it’s due for release in 2018. The upcoming game will be set in a post-apocalyptic future. Players will take control of vampires who have supernatural abilities.
Information about Code Vein is still uncertain but the developer confirms that there will be a “buddy system”. It’s still uncertain if this system is for an AI companion or for a second player. Hopefully the developer will clear this up soon.
